Carousel in the City { GIVEAWAY }

204 Carousel in the City { GIVEAWAY }

Like was promised to you – and this post will mark – giveaway#3 on the blog, yep – there’s a sweet present to be WON! This one applies to everyone who wants to enter – from within the country. Collaborated with a lovely girl from Pune, Twisha Maniar, who creates and paints objects for Carousel; Carousel is her own label which was conceptualised about 2 years ago, and she focuses completely on customisation of her products when it comes to the orders that she takes from customers. From the minute she connected with me some weeks ago, I knew this would be a really cute giveaway – What do you think? Because I’ve been thankful to the love I have been receiving since I started to publicise this blog some more, the two years gone past have been more than wonderful. Some thanks for you comes in the form of this beautiful box painted by Twisha herself, and wait, so here’s what you have to do if you wish to win it…

What’s in the Box?

1. NOTHING! The BOX is what you are going to win, silly. (Sorry, was trying to be cute.) So it’s set in a square shape, and I believe it would be perfect for those of you who can’t ever have enough of dainty, lacquered jewellery boxes.

2. Favourite feature? Twisha was gracious enough to let me create and conceptualise a pattern/print for the box; so it’s all her handiwork, and some of my brain juice. Told you, her customising properties are tops! (Confetti prints are my trademark! Copied the rainbow stripes from a pattern she had worked on previously for another customer.)

Rules?

The rules are simple! (This giveaway is for Indian residents, only.)

1. Comment here on what excites you about/why you would like to win this dainty box.
2. Follow Carousel on both Facebook & Instagram; this is not optional either. :-)

(Brownie points will be awarded to you if you are to ‘Like’ my page on Facebook, and/or follow me on Instagram, HEH.)

What happens after?

I’ll choose ONE winner in exactly ten days, from now – save the date – November 20 is when this contest comes to an end! As soon as I announce the winner – which will either be on my Facebook or Instagram page (and through an e-mail, perhaps) – please write back to me with your postal address and phone number right away. (Will share the contact details with Twisha who will directly post the present across to you, then.)

The “Fourth Year of Festivities” remains yours for taking! Giveaway-gift-makin’.

{ Carousel, also, has a set of pre-painted objects for sale in the form of chalkboard frames, metal boxes, paper votive-holders, serving trays and so much more. This means that you can order from her existing collections, apart from requesting to have something custom painted. To be honest, I would rather opt for a custom-made product from Twisha only because the process is easy and plenty of fun. The result of which created this giveaway! Farewell. }

The Gift of La Magie { GIVEAWAY }

188 The Gift of La Magie { GIVEAWAY } - 2Okay, giveaway # 2, here we come! This one applies to everyone who wants to enter – in the country (if you are overseas and want to enter, and have a friend here in the country who can collect your goodie for you – then by all means, enter away!). But I’m counting my cookies before they come out of the oven! This giveaway is themed after my favourite show of the moment, Charmed; I’ve been re-watching all the seasons. (Contains a bit of magic, aye!)

What’s in the Box?

1. The Gypsy Necklace from Rosecraft by Roanna Fernandes (giggle-giggle, yeah, that’s me!). (This is a necklace holding a gypsy charm that I’ve created. There are a few more of the same variety, which I hope to sell – at some point.)

2. Message in a Bottle – A delicate vial (that looks a lot like a potion bottle) I bought at Al-Zamil Stores when I was in The Kingdom, a month before the last; of course, I’ll be adding a personal touch for that Charmed effect. (If you’re into that sort of thing!)

3. A Pointing Crystal Necklace from Lune by Sreesha Shetty. (Far by, my favourite! Ordered an amethyst crystal+quartz necklace from Sreesha Shetty for which this magical giveaway would have been incomplete without! Especially this ONE, that’s somewhat similar to the one they use on Charmed when scrying for magical beings, or witches.

4. Rustic wooden jewellery tray from Dhoop – An old-fashioned, wooden container shaped like the stump of a tree (well, somewhat); I’ve painted the containing hollow with matte gold for a magical effect. Would this be something that interests you?

Rules?

The rules are simple! This giveaway is for Indian residents, only. International giveaways, commencing soon.

1. Comment below saying why you would want to win this (THIS ISN’T OPTIONAL, SADLY! Well, d-uh.), and tell me your current favourite supernatural/witchcraft-ish book/magazine/movie/show of the moment (this part is optional!). Okay, so my comments are moderated – don’t fret if you don’t see yours published immediately! (And please don’t forget to add your e-mail address in the details box so I have yours saved on my system; I’ll need it to get in touch.)

2. For brownie points – feel free (well, not really, hahaha!)  to ‘Like’ my page on Facebook, and follow me on Twitter! :-)

What happens after?

I’ll choose ONE winner in exactly two weeks, from now – save the date – June 24 is when this contest comes to an end! As soon as I announce the winner – which will either be on my Facebook or Twitter page (and through an e-mail, perhaps) –  please write back to me with your postal address and phone number right away. I’ll mail the package across then, immediately through speed post!

The “Fourth Year of Festivities” is yours for taking! Giveaway-gift-makin’. Good luck!

Meet Rosecraft

Meet_rosecraft

Meet Rosecraft. She’s zany, colourful and slightly weird. If she had to pick one favourite colour, her heart would stay true to the colour of the ocean. But for now, Christmas reds, chocolate browns, shell whites, Pacific blues, kohl blacks, sunset oranges and buttercup yellows, keep her fascinated.

Okay, for those of you who don’t know what the hell I’m rambling about, Rosecraft is my baby. It’s this brand and logo I designed to represent the jewellery and P-O-P stuff that I make. It all started when I would make beaded anklets and give them away as random presents to my friends. Somewhere around that time, I grew to love what I was doing. My favourite pieces used to be the boho anklets and ethnic earrings from my collection. But now, my fastest-selling products are the hand-painted coasters. That’s the most fun product of Rosecraft currently.
