Something Wicca This Way Comes

183 Something Wicca This Way Comes

Last week, when I was at the Forever 21 store at Oberoi Mall – I spotted this gem! Literally. It was the last piece left, and in fact, this necklace was draped over a mannequin… I think I just got lucky! It reminds me of the scrying crystal that Prue, Piper, Phoebe (and Paige) used to use (to look for each other) on the TV show, Charmed. Because I started watching the show again right from the beginning, very recently, I feel even more taken with magical myths and protective charm jewellery of all kinds… This is another one I’ve added to my personal collection.

Do you like such pieces, too? I would then recommend that you check out Accessorize, Etsy, Lune (one of my very favourites) and Promod (They are very underrated especially when it comes to jewellery, I ♥ what they curate+stock!) for similar pieces. Look for some crystal+quartz type jewellery at Forever 21, too in a few weeks from now. I know that there will be variations, if not an identical pendant. Good luck!

For the uninitiated (and those of you who aren’t that big on Charmed, or haven’t watched the series at all), the interwebz defines scrying as the practice of looking into a translucent ball or other materials with the belief that things can be seen, such as spiritual visions, and less often for purposes of divination or fortune-telling. The most common media used are reflective, translucent, or luminescent substances such as crystals, stones, glass, mirrors, water, fire, or smoke.

  1. This one does look a lot like the scrying crystal in Charmed and is very pretty. Charmed used to be one of my fave shows too, I remember watching it religiously when the series was originally aired. I think i’ll go watch it again. Have fun watching. :)
