A few months ago, I bought two things from India Circus which I’m very happy with! (If you must know, I’m using the notebook now as my doodle diary for 2014.) Okay, and some weeks ago, someone from the marketing team at India Circus got in touch with me and asked if I would like to review anything from their current collection… I mean, would I ever! As I’ve already established before, I L O V E their colours and prints, I wouldn’t call them kitschy; in fact, I think they’re appealing enough even to someone like my mum (I haven’t actually asked her, but I’m sure their prints aren’t something she would hate).
Of course, when I was asked what I would like to write about, I felt a bit spoiled for choice (though on a budget) and I already had just bought two things I really liked from them recently, so I picked something I needed… A very pretty laptop sleeve! The colourful trucks and ethnic motifs totally have my heart, and I’m especially glad it’s big enough to actually snuggle my baby.
Besides that, here’s a little something of prime importance! I was very surprised by the fabric quality, I wasn’t expecting it to be that nice, I guess (I thought it would be average, at best) but it’s really, very good. Though it seems like a rough, khadi type of fabric, it’s actually quite durable (or so it seems) – the seamed-in padding helps, too! I really like the sleeve, and am very happy with it. Ooh, and guess how much it’s priced at? About Rs. 900! I think that’s pretty swell because I was considering buying a sleeve from Chumbak not too long ago and now I’m glad I didn’t. Hooray!
