Festivals are best when they’re spent with family (though with all of us leading such crazy, work-filled lives, you’re lucky if you get to!) and I do love certain traditions (read: exchanging gifts). While I’ve only celebrated Diwali twice, I did enjoy the festivities involved then though I’ll never be able to bravely light up a sparkler (or hold one), all by myself, ever!
Let me not digress… I just wanted to make sure to wish each and every one of you a very happy and prosperous Diwali (and weekend). Remember to not let darkness consume you (I understand it, and it’s a part of me that I try to let go of, sometimes.) but light up, and don’t let its cold, black heart (referring to your darkness) get the better of you. Make room for light (yes, it’s a heartfelt plea!)… and new beginnings. Speaking of which, I have a little secret, one that you will learn of , soon. *winks*
